The name “sisu” comes from the Finnish word SISU, meaning grit, courage, and will.

Art Products
Our brand GÖKOTTA creates everyday items—handkerchiefs, chopsticks, stoles, and more—featuring artwork by artists with disabilities, produced with Japanese workshops. Pieces meant to be used and kept.
Art Rental
We rent original artworks by artists with disabilities for offices, clinics, hospitality, and living spaces—bringing human presence into everyday environments.
Art License
We license artwork for packaging, campaigns, interiors, and spatial graphics—often with design and production support.
